A couple of weekends ago, we took a little trip to Silicone Valley to visit our dear friends Rob & Crystal in their new hometown. We had a great time catching up with them and exploring all the great things California has to offer.
On Friday, we explored the Stanford campus where they both work. It is huge! Not to mention a gorgous campus with a lot of very intersting architecture and works of art scattered throughout.
Then, Crystal took us to a quilting store to pick out the fabric for the baby blanket that my Mom is making us. She helped us pick out the cutest fabric, I can’t too see it when it’s finished!
Friday night we headed over to A Bellagio for dinner in Campbell. The food was exceptional, the best gnocchi I’ve ever had!
Saturday morning, we headed off on foot for a nice morning walk over to the Farmer’s Market where bought lots of fresh fruit and veggies to make a yummy fiesta dinner that night.
When we got back, the boys did some relaxing, watching football, while Crystal and I did a little shopping (what trip would be complete without it!).
We had a great time, thank you Rob and Crystal for being such good hosts! Can’t wait to see you again!!
