A Crisp Fall Day in the Mountains

Last Saturday, Vince and I, both being sick of Las Vegas’ 90-degree fall weather, decided to take a little trip with our doggies out to Mt. Charleston. After stopping to get some coffee and bagels, we headed up the winding road for a little morning hike.

When we got there, we realized that we picked the perfect day….

The leaves were just starting to change, and with the morning sun shining brightly, the trees were glowing yellow. It was so beautiful!

Sumo and Bella had the time of their lives. The mountain floor was a smorgasbord of new scents for them to smell and the exercise was just what they needed.

I finally learned how to use the timer on my camera, as we attempted to take some family self portraits.

After exploring the mountains for about 2 hours, we stopped by the Holiday Shoppe inside the Mt. Charleston Lodge where I picked up a couple of new Christmas decorations for the upcoming holiday season.
We had a wonderful day!
